Job Title: Project Associate-I (Patents)
Code: TKD802
Eligibility: Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences from recognized University or equivalent in patent analytics/informatics
No.of posts: 05
Location: Delhi
Desirable: Proficiency in patent analytics/ informatics/ PG Diploma in IPR, good written
and oral skills in English
Monthly emoluments:
For Project Associate – I
(i) Rs. 31,000/-+HRA to scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests –
CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection
process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions
(ii) Rs. 25,000/-+HRA for others who do fall under (i) above
Age Limit: 35 years for Project Associate-I. The above age limits are relaxable for candidates of statutory groups as per CSIR/Govt. of India instructions on the subject.
Job Requirement:
Preference will be given to those with proficiency in computers and commonly used software with the ability
to work as a part of a team.General Conditions:
(a) The engagement which is on contract basis in respect of all above positions will confer no rights on the candidates, whatsoever, implicitly and/or explicitly for their continuation beyond tenure/absorption/regularization in CSIR. The contract may be terminated at any time at a notice of one month from either side or one-month stipend in lieu thereof.
(b) Project staff would be governed by the Guidelines relating to engagement of project staff in CSIR Projects including NMITLI projects, OLP/MLP, Contract R&D and non-CSIR funded Projects issued by CSIR vide OM No. 4/CMG/2020-TMDII dated 13 August 2020.
(c) The project staff may be required to travel as per need.
(d) Reservation (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) will be applicable as per CSIR/Govt. of India instructions
on the subject.
(e) Head, CSIR-TKDL Unit reserves the right to increase/ decrease the number of positions
and also cancel the recruitment process for the positions mentioned above at any stage of the recruitment process. The decision of the Head, CSIR-TKDL Unit will be final and binding.
Note:
(a) Candidates should present themselves at Vigyan Suchna Bhawan, CSIR-NISCAIR
The building, 14, Satsang Vihar Marg, New Delhi – 110 067 for a Written test at the above-mentioned dates against each post, the timing of which will notify on the CSIR website or
through email. The interview of shortlisted candidates will take place online, the details of
which will be made available on CSIR website. The results of the written test will be declared the same day or next day. The candidates are requested to visit the CSIR website or their email frequently to know the information and status.
(b) The candidates must bring with them original certificates/ testimonials at the time of test along with two copies of self-attested photographs and a set of self-attested copies of certificates/ testimonials in support of age, qualification, marks obtained, experience, if any, etc. The candidates must also bring a copy of their bio-data neatly typed on A4 paper.
(c) The candidates belonging to reserved categories must bring their original certificate of
categories to which they belong issued by the competent authority (along with self attested
copies of the same).
(d) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Test/ Interview.
(e) If currently employed, then the candidate will have to furnish a no-objection certificate from the current employer at the time of joining.
(f) Candidature will be purely provisional subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
(g) Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified.
Other Instructions to Candidates:
(a) In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuing travel restrictions or other restrictions in place, please make your travel plans accordingly and with due attention to existing COVID-19 procedures/ guidelines/ norms in place.
(b) All candidates will be subjected to thermal scanning and those with COVID-19 or similar
symptoms will not be allowed to enter the venue. An undertaking may be taken from candidates as deemed necessary.
(c) All candidates must mandatorily wear face covers or face masks, follow security
instructions and maintain physical distancing at all times.
(d) All candidates must register in the “AAROGYA SETU” mobile application, developed by
the Govt of India and display safe status at the time of entry.
