Govt CPRI Chemical Engineering Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is an autonomous Society under the Ministry of Power engaged in Research and Development in the fields of generation, transmission, distribution and operation of electricity supply systems. CPRI acts as an apex body for initiating and coordinating applied research in electrical power engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and in Quality Assurance. CPRI invites on-line applications from the eligible Indian Nationals for filling up of vacancies of grade officer post.

Eligibility: BE/B.Tech with First Class in Chemical Engineering with an aggregate minimum of 65% or 6.84/10 CGPA. Candidates applying with qualification of AMIE should have 65% marks or CGPA 6.84 in Section B alone (Qualifying of AMIE candidates will be regulated as
per MHRD Order No. 11-15-2011-AR(TS.II) dated 6.12.2012. Candidates enrolled for AMIE up to 31.5.2013 and completed the course are only eligible). The candidates applying for the post essentially shall posses valid GATE score for the year 2019/2020.

Job Description: Testing and performance evaluation
of power apparatus as perNational & International standards. To take up research projects in the relevant areas,
consultancy work, Operation & Maintenance and supervision.
Selection Procedure:Â The selection is on the basis of their valid GATE Score (2019/2020) in the order of merit. CPRI reserves the right to fix the cutoff GATE score for ranking.
Probation for the post will be initially for a period of 2 years. The post carries
service benefits and allowances as per Government of India norms.

3. Number of vacancies notified in the advertisement is subject to change depending upon the actual requirement at the time of selection and reservations notified may also vary accordingly.
4. The prescribed Educational qualification is bare minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be shortlisted for the selection process. Essential qualifications is the minimum qualification which is mandatory for applying for the specified post.

In the event of number of eligible applications being large, CPRI reserves the right to limit the candidates and to be shortlisted based on the GATE score for the post of Engineering Officer Grade I. For the post of Engineering Officer Grade I, CPRI reserves the right to fix cut-off GATE Score merit and the number of posts to be filled branch wise.
6. CPRI reserves the right to change (cancel/modify/add) any of the criteria, method of selection with or without assigning any reason.
7. 8. The decision of CPRI in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection

9. Candidates are advised that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered with or fabricated and should not suppress any material information while submitting an online application. If found guilty of misconduct/impersonation/canvassing/use of unfair means will be disqualified from the Document verification process. In case the candidate is considered for further process, whose particulars/ information is found false at any stage of the selection process, his/her candidature will be terminated immediately without any notice and liability to CPRI.

disqualification.
11.Probation for the post will be initially for a period of 2 years. The post carries
service benefits of NPS contribution/Leave/LTC/Medical benefits and
allowances as per Government of India norms.
12.Employment in the Institute carries with it All India Transfer liability. Presently
CPRI has its units at Bangalore, Bhopal, Noida, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Kolkata,
Guwahati and Nasik.

14.Candidates possessing the valid GATE Score, educational qualifications and specified age limit shall only be eligible to apply for the post.
