Job Title: Project Assistant
Fixed Stipend/Fellowship/Salary amount of Rs.20,000/- p. m.

Project Title “Developing Superior Noble Metal-Free Oxygen Evolution Catalyst for Electrochemical Water Oxidation and Metal-Air Battery”
Desirable qualifications:
The candidates should possess post-graduate degree. The candidate should have experience in handling regular laboratory experiments, laboratory accounts and bills. The candidates should possess post-graduate
degree.
Age: The upper age limit must not be more than 27 years as on December 31, 2019 (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates; in case of non-research positions, upper age limit may also be relaxed for the duration of earlier work in a project/scheme subject to the Institute rules prevalent at that time. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules).
Duration: Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable up to 2 years
solely based on the performance.General terms and conditions:
- The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory
performance for a maximum of two (02) years or termination of the project whichever is earlier. - Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark-sheets and other testimonials must be presented at the time of interview.
- The selection will be based on the performance on the interview, academic career, and the need of the project. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee selection.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained. The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof. Only selected candidate will be communicated to join as PA and no other communication in this regard will be entertained. The start date of the project is preferably the next
day of the Interview.
