Job Description:
- To design and execute the synthesis of target compounds; troubleshoot and optimize synthetic routes
- Liaise with the Functional Lead Med Chem in US on project priorities and ensure that project deliverables are met.
- Managing a group of 6 – 8 medicinal chemists.
- Analyzing SAR and be a part of team designing the next set of compounds ensuring that the project deliverables are met within the pre-defined timeline.
- Periodic update of the project progress to the Section Head – medicinal chemistry / Functional Leads and clients.
- Work collaboratively with the biologists, DMPK scientists and the safety pharmacologists.
- Resource allocation, data integrity and adherence to safety in the work place for the team.
- Ensure the implementation of regulatory and safety compliances.
