Project Title: Central Sector Scheme, “Monitoring of Pesticide Residues at National Level”
(MPRNL), Sponsored by Ministry of Agriculture an<l farmer welfare.

Job Title: Research Associate

No.of posts: 01

Eligibility: Ph.Din Chemistry OR  M.Sc degree in Chemistry having l st Division or 60 % marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship I Associateship I Training / other engagements.

Desirable:

i) Published research papers

(ii) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL)

(iii) Working knowledge of computer

(iv) Experience in pesticide residue analysis m biological and environmental samples

(v) Handling sophisticated Analytical instruments Viz., GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS

Age: Upper age limit is 40 Years

on the date of interview (Relaxed upper age limit by 5 years in case of women candidates on date of interview)

Salary: For Ph.D holders Rs. 24,000 /- p.m + HRA,
For M.Sc holders Rs. 23,000 /- p.m. + HRA

Job Requirement: Sampling, Extraction of samples (Food, environment and biological), instrument analysis (GC, HPLC, GC-MS LC-MS) of samples for pesticide residues, calibration of laboratory instruments as per international guidelines, working in laboratory as per NABL lSO/IEC 17025:2017

Position 2

Job Title: SRF

Eligibility: Master’s Degree m science (Chemistry/Environmental Science/Forensic Science/ Entomology) with NET

Desirable:

i) Published research papers

(ii) Experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 or 17025:2017 (NABL)

(iii) Working knowledge of computer

(iv) Experience in pesticide residue analysis m biological and environmental samples

Job Title: Jr. Research Fellow

No.of posts: 02

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry
a). Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSlR-UGC, NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
B). The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, Ilse, IISER, etc.

Salary: Rs. 25,000,per month+ HRA

Job Requirement: Sample collection, analysis of pesticide residues by chromatography techniques (GC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS).
