Chemistry JRF & RA Job Opening 2019 @ IISER Kolkata
Applications are invited for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (one position) and Research Associate (one position) in the Department of Chemical Sciences (DCS), IISER Kolkata. This position is funded by the Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (IGSTC). The position will be awarded initially for a period of one year, and may be extended based on the research progress and performance, and subject to the availability of funds.
Title of project: Roll to roll printed electronic labels for temperature, humidity and tampering detections

Principle Investigator: Dr. Debansu Chaudhuri, Assoc. Professor, Dept. of Chemical Sciences
Remuneration: JRF (Rs. 31000) and RA-1 (Rs. 47000)
Tenure: One year, extendable based on performance and funds availability.
Basic Eligibility Criteria: JRF: M.Sc. in Chemistry with 1st class or equivalent.
Qualified CSIR-UGC NET (including LS) or GATE examination
RA-1: PhD in Chemistry with at least one first-author research paper in an SCI journal.
Desirable additional experience and qualifications: Exposure to synthetic organic chemistry techniques, and supramolecular chemistry/molecular self-assembly.
Age limit: Maximum 30 yrs
