Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Junior Research Fellow” (JRF) in a research project titled “First-principles simulations of pressure-induced phenomena in organic and hybrid crystals” funded by Department of Atomic Energy under the BRNS programme.

Name of position: Junior Research Fellow
Duration: For 9 months
Essential Qualifications: Master’s (M.Sc.) degree in physics, chemistry (physical
chemistry specialization preferred) or related disciplines with good academic record (first
class/division or minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0).
Research Experience: Candidates with computational chemistry/physics experience will
be preferred.
Salary: Rs. 31,000 p.m. + HRA (16%)
Age Limit: Applicant should not have completed 28 years of age at the time of application.
Accommodation: Suitable residential accommodation as per Institute rules shall be
provided on the Campus on joining the Institute (this is subject to availability
of non-availability of residential accommodation, HRA @ 20% shall be admissible.
