Project Title: “Optoelectronics in van der Waals heterostructures: from fundamentals to quantum device engineering”
Funding Agency Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Eligibility: Phd Chemistry/ Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis may also apply.
Experience: Candidates must have provisional Ph.D. certificate at the time of joining duties
Desirable: Hands on experience on the 2D material synthesis, nanodevice fabrication, low-temperature optoelectronic measurements. Adequate theoretical understanding of charge transport mechanism in 2D materials
Job Requirement
Fabrication of 2D material based nano-devices and their low-temperature optoelectronic characterization to understand the charge transport mechanism.
Tenure of the appointment Initially for a period of one year which may be extended subject to continuation
of the project and satisfactory performance of the incumbent.Consolidated emoluments Rs. 36,000/- + 30 % HRA per month
Age Not more than 35 years as on closing date of advertisement.
