Job Title:Â Discovery chemistry R&D
Work Location:Â Bengaluru, Hyderabad
Eligibility: BSc Chemistry & MSc Chemistry
Experience:Â Â 1 –Â 7 years
Roles:Â Perform Synthetic chemical reactions; Purification of compounds by column chromatography.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform synthetic chemistry reactions, reaction work-ups
2. purification of the compounds by Manual / Automated column chromatography or re-crystallization techniques.
3. Submit the samples generated during the course of synthesis for analysis and record results.
4. Record the observations of experiment/reaction, results, utilization of resources and other activities related to the reaction in the laboratory or e-notebook in a timely manner.
5. Ensure that the instrument/equipment are calibrated, undergone preventive maintenance and are kept clean before use.
6. Should have an understanding of the MSDS of the chemicals being and awareness of emergency response
procedures in case of accidental spillage, leakage or fire and ensure proper waste segregation as per EHS normsWalk-inÂ
