Job Title: Executive

In the department of Makeup Dev, we are looking for a Temp. resource

Type of contract: 1 year

As a Makeup – Executive, your main responsibilities are :

  • Provide technical support to Marketing – technical explanation of new and existing technology for all launches to help Marketing develop concepts.
  • Facilitate clear communication at the interface between R&I and Marketing
  • Review concepts, cartons, packaging, advertising, web, e-commerce, training materials for technical accuracy
  • Maintain awareness of new technical or marketing opportunities from scientific and technical literature and publications
  • Serves as a creative catalyst for potential new technology discoveries and/or new ingredient communication.
  • Brainstorm innovative testing approaches for support of active ingredient and product performance.
  • Request product claims from Marketing
  • Review test platform to ensure all product claims are being addressed.
  • Work closely with Safety and Analytical teams to coordinate product testing and analysis.
  • Work closely with Clinical Evaluation team to coordinate clinical, instrumental, and consumer testing.
  • Provide final test results with technical support/interpretation.
  • Issue technical dossiers for new products or modifications to existing products
    Provide PR support.

To succeed in this position, you have :

  • Master’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related science or communication related field is required. Make Up experience a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Must be able to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and work with various groups within a matrix organization.
  • Must communicate clearly and be adept at giving technical presentations to large groups of professionals.
  • Knowledge on cosmetic trends globally and locally
  • Excellent communication skills

Answer: I’m committed to staying informed about scientific and technical developments. I consistently review relevant scientific publications, attend industry conferences, and actively participate in online forums. This helps me bring fresh insights and potential opportunities to our projects.

4. Question: Can you describe a situation where you had to present technical information to a non-technical audience, such as the Marketing team?

Answer: Certainly. In my previous role, I presented technical explanations of new technologies to the Marketing team to assist in concept development. To ensure clarity, I customized my presentations by focusing on the practical implications of the technology and its benefits for the end-users, which resonated well with the non-technical audience.
