Job Description:
1. Support development of early and late phase NCE development within global multidisciplinary teams, manage all assigned project timeline, activities and apply scientific/technical expertise to address complex R&D issues for the preparation and timely delivery of drug products (DP), processes and procedures, participate in teams and contribute to overall Technical Research and Development strategies and goals.
2. To develop our growing pipeline of products we are looking for experienced professionals in the area of pharmaceutical formulation development. In this challenging position, you will play a key role in the development of oral solid and liquid dosage forms (including poorly soluble compounds).
3. Support entire drug product development process starting with first pre-formulation studies up to the manufacturing process transfer to production and the provision of the required documentation to allow worldwide registration
4.Support development of robust formulations and processes through optimization, scale-up and validation work applying QbD principles incl. risk assessments and DoEs

Qualifications:
Minimum: M. Pharm. or M.Tech or equivalent Minimum: M. Pharm. or M.Tech or equivalent
Desirable: Advanced degree in a scientific or relevant discipline (Ph.D. or equivalent). Good knowledge of English (oral and written).
1. Successfully demonstrated directly related experience as scientist or PhD in Science with focus on pharmaceutical sciences and technology (e.g. Pharmacy, Chemistry) M. Pharm. with 7-9 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and Ph. D with 2-4 years of experience
2. Strong solid oral dosage form development expertise comprising formulation design/screening, process development, scale-up and validation.
3. Strong experience of Parenteral or Topical or Ophthalmic dosage forms.
4. Strong background of application of QbD and DoE aspects in formulation development. Experience of NCE development preferred but is not must.
5. Working with GMP regulations/policies and writing regulatory documents
6. Awareness for safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment.
7. Adequate scientific or technical knowledge in a specific area (e.g. galenical, process development)
8. Basic knowledge in scientific/technical areas of collaboration, Good knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools
9. Adequate knowledge of software and computer tools.
10. Creative thinking and effective interdisciplinary collaboration with other functions.
11. Good presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills.
