Job Title    Regulatory Affairs Associate

Nature of Work:

Regulatory Affairs Associate, Bangalore

Novozymes Toxicology & Regulatory Affairs is now looking for a Regulatory Affairs Associate for our site in Bangalore, India which is part of a global Regulatory Affairs organization headed by our department senior manager in Denmark. You will be working closely together with our Regulatory Affairs Team in India and state-of-the-art regulatory specialists globally. You will be responsible for supporting customer requests & IT database management. Hence a science background with IT knowledge & interest is advantageous. The position requires good business understanding, strong credible communications skills, being comfortable with multitasking with high predictability and a global team player.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and respond to customer questionnaires and requests.
  • Monitor relevant regulatory changes and secure that SDS on impacted products are updated and distributed.
  • Maintenance of regulatory IT tools. Support local RA team as needed.
  • Candidate will be challenged by working in a global environment and handling complexity IT tools to ensure state of the art regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience from a Regulatory Affairs & or from IT department.
  • Bachelor of Science in e.g. Biotechnology, Food Science, Chemistry or eq.
  • Strong interest and skills in IT including database understanding
  • Systematic and qualitative in work
  • Basic insight to chemical or food legislation e.g. globally harmonized system and safety data sheet would be an advantage
