Candidates of Indian nationality are invited to appear for the Walk-in test / interview for project appointments under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis on consolidated pay renewable yearly or upto the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Project Title:  Development of an Affordable, Automated and Field Deployable, Point of Care and
Contained System for Rapid Diagnosis of TB caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis
(Under IMPRINT Scheme) (RP03327)

Principal Investigator:  Prof. Ravi Krishnan Elangovan

Funding Agency:  Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD)

Salary:   Rs.36,000-38,000-40,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 30%

Qualifications:  Ph.D. in Chemistry / Biology. We are looking for Chemist / Biologist with experience in development of in vitro diagnostic methods. We require a motivated individual to plan, perform, and interpret experiments independently to drive the project efficiently. We are looking for the person with experience in Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

already employed at the Institute / IRD shall be interviewed unless his/her application has been duly forwarded by
their concerned establishment/sections. 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates.
