Job Posting: Pharmacist
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and manage medications as per prescriptions in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, therapeutic compatibility, dosage, contraindications, and allergies.
- Advise healthcare providers on drug selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects.
- Monitor patients’ responses to medications and contribute to therapy decisions in collaboration with physicians as Pharmacist.
- Counsel patients and caregivers regarding safe and effective use of prescribed medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of drug inventory, usage, and prescriptions.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for drugs, particularly controlled and temperature-sensitive substances.
- Comply with all statutory requirements from the Telangana State Drug Control Administration and PCI.
- Train and supervise junior pharmacists, pharmacy interns, and support staff.
- Support the hospital in audits, inspections, and implementation of pharmacy-related protocols.
Qualifications:
- B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree from a PCI-approved institution (mandatory) as Pharmacist.
- Valid registration with the Telangana State Pharmacy Council (mandatory).
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy (preferred).
- Working knowledge of hospital information systems and pharmacy inventory software (preferred).
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong clinical knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with high standards of accuracy and ethics as Pharmacist.
- Knowledge of Telangana-specific drug regulations and compliance norms.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
