Job Description:
Lupin is seeking an experienced Associate Scientist to support analytical activities within the laboratory and contribute to various pharmaceutical analytical projects. The role involves analyzing and reviewing projects using advanced analytical techniques and instruments while ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and regulatory requirements.
The Associate Scientist will be
responsible for method development and validation, analytical data review, SOP preparation, laboratory support activities, and coordination with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines. - Perform project analysis and reviews using analytical techniques.
- Conduct Extractable and Leachable studies using instruments such as GCMS, LCMS, ICPMS, IC, and other laboratory instruments.
- Support analytical activities within the laboratory.
- Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- An Associate Scientist performs analytical method development and validation activities.
- Prepare protocols and study reports.
- Participate in IQ, OQ, and PQ activities for laboratory instruments.
- Ensure instrument calibration and maintenance in accordance with SOPs and GLP practices.
- Utilize laboratory resources effectively, including instruments and apparatus.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), EHS, and safety policies.
- Coordinate with team members, superiors, subordinates, and customers to achieve target timelines.
- Provide training to colleagues and subordinates whenever required.
- Review analytical data and test results.
- Support manufacturing sites for various analytical activities.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry.
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.
Experience Required for an Associate Scientist:
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical analytical laboratories.
- Experience in analytical method development and validation.
- Experience working with advanced analytical instruments such as GCMS, LCMS, ICPMS, and IC.
- Experience following GLP and laboratory compliance requirements.
