How you’ll spend your day
- Participate in method development and provide routine analytical support to pilot and CRD for raw materials, intermediates, in-process samples, and drug substance.
- Apply good knowledge of wet chemistry.
- Work with analytical techniques such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, GCHS, FTIR, PSD, TGA, and others.
- Perform stability studies and forced degradation studies for drug substance as per ICH guidelines.
- Calibrate and maintain sophisticated instruments, including Balance, HPLC, GC, IR, Karl Fischer, Melting Point Analyzer, and Polarimetry.
- Conduct routine analysis of CRD and pilot samples as per set procedures.
- Document processes as per GMP requirements.
- Adhere to safety norms and maintain a safe culture in the lab.
- Ensure online data compilation and recording for full compliance.
- Contribute to maintaining the analytical laboratory as per GLP and safety requirements.
- Provide necessary support to QC during validation batches and in routine tasks as needed.
- Support regulatory/customer-related tasks for commercial and pipeline products as assigned.
- Participate in departmental training and discussion programs.
- Perform any other assignments allocated by the manager/team leader as needed.
Your experience and qualifications
- MSc in Organic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry.
- Work Experience: 3–5 years.
