JOB DESCRIPTION
- Understanding project objectives, outline tasks, deliver, present results and other related activities.
- Performs a variety of projects requiring understanding of chemistries and paints.
- Interprets and applies department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensures compliance with these areas.
- Based on the training provided should be able to perform complex projects that requires professional judgment.
- Should be able to perform projects with minimum assistance and completes as per the committed timelines.
- To comply with the HR, company and safety procedures and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of chemistries and paints.
- Formulation of paints based on guideline and paint calculations.
- Preparation of paint samples and applications.
- Testing of liquid and dry film properties of paints.
- Good verbal and writing communications.
- Technical reports writing.
- Handling multiple projects and time management.
- Interpreting and applying department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applicable applications.
- Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction and feedback.
- Fresher or max of 2 years of experience in paints or resins.
- Resin synthesis knowledge is an additional but not a must requirement.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in chemistry or B.Tech. / BE in Polymer/Paint Technology or equivalent education and experiences.
