Responsibilities
- Handling Raw materials & Packing materials Incoming Inspection: Ensuring proper inspection and quality control of raw materials and packing materials.
- Taking care of in Process inspection & Final Testing of products: Conducting inspections and testing during the production process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Periodic maintenance and calibration of laboratory Instruments: Keeping laboratory instruments well-maintained and calibrated for accurate results.
- Handling the process of analysis of used lubricant samples: Analyzing samples received from customers and providing appropriate analysis reports.
- Customer concerns and carrying out appropriate Corrective & Preventive action: Addressing customer concerns and implementing actions to prevent reoccurrence in the future.
- Overall supervision of the Quality Assurance activities: Managing and overseeing all quality assurance activities within the organization.
- Experience in Testing & Analysis as per International standard: Familiarity with testing and analysis methods based on international standards such as ASTM and DIN.
- Knowledge on complaint handling: Understanding of complaint handling procedures to ensure prompt resolution.
- Vendor / new RM development activities: Collaborating with vendors and contributing to the development of new raw materials.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry: A degree in chemistry or industrial chemistry is required for this position.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QA and R&D from a Multi National Company: Prior experience in quality assurance and research and development, preferably in a multinational company.
- Analytical ability: Strong analytical skills to interpret and analyze data accurately.
- Exposure to ERP based system, preferably SAP-QM, ISO systems (TS 16949) and TQM is desirable: Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP-QM, ISO systems (TS 16949), and Total Quality Management is preferred.
