About the job
Job Accountabilities:
- Scheduling activities
- Run scheduling tools to convert plan output into feasible daily schedule and daily monitoring of products qualities to avoid quality give away / offspec product.
- Ensure production targets are achieved & product evacuation is in line with outlook.
- Work out optimum grade mix and ensure product commitments accordingly.
- Ensure feed to the Refinery units are as per agreed feed window whilst minimizing feed cost and opex.
- Liaison with trading & operations team to take care of unplanned events & to ensure no impact on Refinery operations.
- Work with LP modellers to feed outputs of planning tools into scheduling tools.
- Support Supply Management in optimization through feasibility analysis and refinery perspective and as per guidance from supply management, make adjustments to the schedule whenever necessary considering changes in demand and delays to delivery.
- Monitor inventory regularly and effectively report deviations from targets.
- Keep up to date delivery schedule and ensure the accounting system reflects the daily position and keep refinery informed of any amendments to arrival timings.
- Maintain an up-to-date repository of all documentation related to product specifications and crude blend window.
Education Required
B.E / B.Tech in Chemical
Experience Required
Overall 6 to 8 years of experience with 3 to 5 years of exposure to scheduling (refining, supply, blending)
