Job Title: JRF

Essential qualifications:
1. MSc from Chemistry/Physics/Materials Science/Nanoscience or BTech from Materials
science/Nanotechnology or related topics with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5 grade points on a scale of 10) or For SC/ST category, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate score (6.0 grade points on a scale of 10).
or Graduate in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation with at least 1 year of industry/research experienc
2. Qualified in any of the following points:
a. GATE qualification
b. CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
c. National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies
and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc,
IISER, etc
d. 2 years of professional experience
Desirable: This is a leadership position involving effective overall management of the project through its completion. Lead the project’s administrative aspects and coordinate team members’ activities to achieve desired results. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and support efficient project implementation. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also desired. Strong interpersonal communication and excellent oral presentation, preparation of reports, and project-related correspondence with all the stakeholders. Strong background in academic setups.
Coordination with internal stakeholders of the institute
Preference will be given to the candidates’ working experience relevant to the project. Candidates with expertise in the following are strongly encouraged to apply: Expertise in inorganic materials,
Electrochemistry, metal-ion battery, XRD, and SEM based characterization techniques and analysis.
Candidates with expertise in the following areas are also strongly encouraged to apply:
1)Expertise in Python and C++ and/or MATLAB
2)Experience in digital control, digital communication, specifically in drone communication
3) Desirable: Experience in Data Analytics
4) Leadership and management quality (experience in organizing workshop, seminars)
5) Expertise in technical writing and research publication.
Age limit: 28 years
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month
Duration: The initial appointment will be given for six months and is extendable based on performance.
This is also subject to the availability of the funds for the project (Total project duration of 3 years).

Terms & Conditions:
i. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidate for the interview.

iii. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
iv. If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
v. The candidate’s appointment will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Institute/ funding agency particularly applicable to the said project as and when required.
vi. The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately upon receipt of the offer.
vii. The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance till date is not deemed satisfactory.
