Field / Research Areas: Chemistry- Organic & Inorganic chemistry, Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural products chemistry, Physical Chemistry. Biology – Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology,Bioinformatics,Respiratory biology,cardio-metabolic lung diseases, Development biology, Stem cell biology, Microbiology, Virology, Antiviral research, Antimicrobial resistance, Chemical Biology, Nanomaterial & their characterization, Biomaterials,Neurobiology,Infectious Diseases & Immunology, Biotechnology, Molecular Genetics,biophysics or any branch of Life Sciences.
Reporting Time: from 9.30 A.M. to 10.30 A.M.
Qualification required: Master’s degree holders in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Sciences/any branch of biological sciences. In addition to above candidates shold have qualified any national Eligibility
Test(NET) with valid fellowship such as Joint CSIR-UGC NET JRF/DBT/ICMR/DST-INSPIRE JRF etc. Students in their final year or Masters may also apply, provided they fulfil other qualifications.Age Limit: 28 Years
Terms & Conditions: The engagement is purely temporary and, therefore, does not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any CSIR-IICB / CSIR post. The age and qualifications will be reckoned as on the date of interview. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC / ST / OBC / PH and women candidates as per rules. The actual number of vacancies may vary at the time of selection. The interview may be carried over to the next day (i.e. 09.08.2023) if there are more candidates (No requests for early interview will be entertained). So candidates are requested to plan their programme accordingly.
Interested candidates fulfilling all the above conditions may appear for the walk-in-interview to be held on 08.08.2023 from 9.30 AM and report at the J.C. Ray Auditorium, Jadavpur Campus with the following documents (original as well as self attested copies) – (1) Matriculation Certificate in support of your date of birth, (2) Degree Certificate, (3) Original reprints of all testimonials regarding educational qualifications, (4) Applicants claiming reservation benefits are requested to submit certificate issued by the appropriate authority as per GOI guidelines at the time of interview. (5) No objection certificate from the employer if employed, (6) Final Marksheet of M.Sc. Examination, (7) Documentary evidence of qualifying NET examination & valid fellowship documents, (8)One recent passport size photograph.
