Job Title: Advanced Scientist

Location: IN Bangalore

Eligbility Criteria

Ph. D. With 0-3 years of experience in organic chemistry or polymer chemistry or equivalent

• Experience in handling complex polymer/organic synthesis procedures in a safe & efficient manner

• Knowledge & expertise in synthetic chemistries and standard characterization techniques (NMR, GC, GPC etc).

• Use of basic statistical tools to provide clear understanding to experimental results.

• Strong safety ethics and knowledge/experience to safely lead lab research methods

Position Summary:

Independently pursue new silicone polymer, oligomer or silane materials development efforts and analytical characterization in close collaboration with BU and execute in alignment with project goals

Job Description:

• EH&S: Learn & adhere to safe work practices in lab; Exhibit & promote pro-active safe behaviors in lab activities.
• Be able to identify and report unsafe work practices.
• Responsible for design, synthesis and development of novel silicone/non-silicone polymers, oligomers, or silane materials for applications in multiple segments
• Demonstrate expertise in specific project area, independently execute solutions using technical skills, author complete project summary/technical reports
  Possess basic understanding of statistical significance.
• Responsible for developing novel formulations that are designed to meet customer needs in specific applications.
• Ability to relate customer needs with product profile & also further with product structure-property relationships.
• Work inclusively in close collaboration with BU’s/global stakeholders across multiple functions
