Job Title: Senior Project Associate
Qualifications/experience
Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent; and
(ii) Two years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic
Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services
Desirable M.Sc. with 60% marks and minimum four years of research experience as evidenced by research publications
Age limit* 35 years
Job requirement To carry out experimental work in the area of natural products chemistry, synthesis of bioactive molecules and also any other assigned work
Consolidated fixed emoluments per month Rs. 35,000/- (Consolidated)
No. of positions to be filled up ONE
*Age limit as shown above is relaxable by 5 years in respect of women and candidates belonging to SC/ST community and 3 years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC community.
The
engagement will be initially for a period of three months, which may be extended orcurtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project/satisfactory performance or conduct of the appointee. The appointment will be purely on temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right/claim, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post/fellowship.
