Project Title: “Effects of impurities on the isotope geochemistry of some important rock forming minerals: A combined theoretical and experimental study”, under the joint supervision of Prof. Prosenjit Ghosh, Centre for Earth Sciences, IISc Bangalore and Dr. Swastika Chatterjee, Department of Earth Sciences, IISER Kolkata.
Job Title: JRF
The candidate is expected to perform both theoretical calculations and
experimental work. The position may lead into a PhD degree jointly under IISER Kolkata
and IISc Bangalore.

Salary: A maximum amount of Rs. 31,000 per month + HRA
Tenure: 12 months, with possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance
Eligbility Criteria:
M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Chemistry with minimum 60% marks, or minimum CGPA/CPI of 7.0 on a 10-point scale.
Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (incl. LS)
or
examinations conducted by DST/DBT/DAE/DOS/DRDO/MHRD/ICAR/ICMR/IIT/IISc/IISER may apply.
Age Limit: An upper age limit of 28 years as on the date of the interview, which can
be relaxed for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
