NIT Puducherry Chemistry Job – Junior Research Fellow Post

Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01
Project Title: Development of Sugar Derived Bi-PHENOL-Phosphate Brønsted Acid
Organocatalysts and its Metal Catalysts for Asymmetric Synthesis
Funding Agency for the Project: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Duration of the advertised post: One Year
Eligibility Criteria:
M.Sc. Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry in First class + A valid GATE score or CSIR-Lectureship in Chemical Sciences is essential.
Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- + 8% HRA
Desired Qualification / Skills:
• Preference will be given to students having experience in organic synthesis.
• A good programming skill for handling instrumentations and setting up air sensitive experiments.
• Previous working experience in R&D Laboratory in academics and Industry or any research projects given preference.
