IIT Indore PhD & MSc Job Opening 2020 – Salary Rs 47,000 + HRA
Advertisement for the post of Research Associate (RA) in SERB funded project Discipline of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, invites applications from motivated and eligible candidates to work as a Research Associate to fulfil the objectives of a
SERB funded research project entitled “Designing of Mn-based Catalysts for Conversion
of Ethanol to Butanol “.
Objective: The aim of the project is to do computational studies of earth-abundant Mn-based complexes for the conversion of ethanol to butanol.
Fellowship: Rs. 47,000 + HRA (as per rules)
Duration of appointment: Initially for 12 months (co-terminus with the project)
Essential Qualification: PhD or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and
development experience after MSc in Chemistry or equivalent with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Candidate must have good knowledge of
homogenous catalysts, and computational techniques. Good communication skills are essential for the sponsored research project.
Age limit: 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates will be as per Government of India norms.

Mere fulfilment of the essential qualifications does not entitle the selection. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the advertised post if the candidates are not found suitable for the post
