Applications are invited for the position of JRF in the Department of Chemistry at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a BRNS sponsored research project titled “A polydiacetylene-based fluorescent sensor for the detection of arsenic species and uranyl ion in water by conventional and nuclear analytical methods (58/14/28/2019-BRNS/11019). Principal collaborator: Dr. Raghunath Acharya (BARC, Mumbai)
Broad area of Research: Organic and analytical chemistry
Duration of the project: Three years
Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 31,000/- +HRA as per eligibility

Qualification: First Class in M Sc. (chemistry) / M Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) / equivalent degree. NET-LS / valid GATE qualification is desirable and will be given precedence.
