Research/Job Area– Organic Chemistry
Location– Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Eligibility/Qualification– M.Sc in chemistry (55% marks in aggregate or equivalent) with NET qualification
Note: The aspirant should have M.Sc in chemistry/organic chemistry and NET qualified and should have a strong interest to make a career in the field of organic chemistry. Students will get rigorous training in synthetic organic chemistry and flair of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology-related areas through collaborative projects.
Job/Position Description–
Research group of Dr. Jaideep Saha, CBMR Lucknow is looking to recruit highly motivated, result-oriented and ambitious students and enroll for the Ph.D program at CBMR, Lucknow. We are a vibrant research group, focused on organic synthesis and methodology development to address some of the pressing challenges in the field. Our aim is to design new reaction to streamline the access to biologically active scaffolds, and to find applications in early drug-discovery processes. We have a state-of-the-art research laboratory and other research facilities at CBMR, which is at per with the other elite institutes in India including IIT and IISERs.

Position 2
Project-JRF/Fellow position is available to work in a DST-RFBR funded project (INT/RUS/RFBR/P-321) under the supervision of Dr. JAIDEEP SAHA at Centre of Biomedical Research, Lucknow.
The position is immediately available. Prior experiences (academic/industry) in multi-step organic synthesis is desirable but not mandatory.
Project duration: 9 months.
Salary: Rs. 25000 with HRA (20% of the salary)
Eligibility: The essential qualification is M.Sc in Chemistry with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
