CSIR- NCL Chemical Science Project Assistant Job Opening
Applications are invited on plain paper for filling up of position of Junior Research Fellow (Two posts) on a purely temporary basis, in the prescribed proforma. The details of the sponsored project, under which engagement is proposed to be made, are as under:
Filling up of position for engagement as Junior Research Fellow (Two posts) under the
Project Code: GAP318526 (Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India).
Project Title: Plant cell wall deconstruction of Crop-residues and biotransformation to value-added products with special emphasis on ultra-structure of cell wall and inhibitor generation during multiple pre-treatments and their effect on biotransformation
Eligibility: MSc in Organic/Inorganic Chemistry with minimum 55% marks and qualified CSIR-NET/UGC-GATE ORM.Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 55% OR B.Tech in Chemical Engineering with minimum 55% marks and qualified CSIR- NET/UGC-GATE*
Desirable: Research experience in the area of catalysis and biomass valorization.
Job Requirement: To carry out biomass pretreatment; synthesis, characterization of catalysts and their applications in the biotransformation.
Salary: Rs.25000 + 24% HRA*
Duration: The engagement will be initially for a period of six months which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the tenure of sponsored projecV satisfactory
performance or conduct of the appointee, as the case may be. The engagement will be purely on a temporary basis and shall not be CSIR/NCL appointment, temporary or otherwise and shall not entitle the appointee to any right claim whatsoever, implicit or explicit, for his/her consideration against any CSIR/NCL post-fellowship.How to apply
