Vacant Post: Research Associate –I
Project Title: Development of Thiourea derivatives as antiviral agent for Hepatitis B Virus infection
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Vijay Kumar, Professor
Project duration: Three years
Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi
Laboratory: Molecular and Cellular Medicine, ILBS, New Delhi
Eligibility: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology
Job Description: Chemical synthesis of Organic compounds, their purification and characterization, Mammalian cell culture, Animal toxicity study, RNA isolation, q-PCR, ELISA and western blotting etc
Fellowship: Rs.47,000/- p.m. + 24% HRA As per Guidelines of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India (Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2019; dated 30th January 2019).

by e-mail on 18 November 2019 and interview will held on 25 November 2019 at 02:00 pm at ILBS. Selected candidate will be required to join by 1st December 2019.This is a collaborative project with Sri Venkateshwara College, Delhi University. The candidate will be required to shuttle between the two institutions as and when required.
