Job Title: Team Lead
Job Description:
The purpose of the position is to support the New Product Introduction Process. The primary role is to enter, execute and monitor new products across varying functional areas including Sourcing, Planning and Scheduling, Product Costing and Master Data.
- Create/update entries in new product process management systems
- Review systems and databases to find necessary information to populate data fields in new product process management systems
- Populate data from new product process management systems into the respective operating systems across multiple functional areas, some areas requiring the use of a matrices to determine the data that will be populated
- Manage time ,workflow queues and product progress to achieve desired cycle times
- Have a thorough knowledge of key data fields utilized in each system.
- Quickly identify situations that require escalation, identify root causes and take appropriate corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Post-Graduation degree in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry from reputed university.
Experience:
- 6 to 8 years in supply chain environment with the knowledge of production planning and material master will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills / Competencies:
- SAP user knowledge – Expert Proficiency Expected
- Understanding different T-codes and its impact on the results
- Ability to create different extract/ reports from SAP independently.
- Ability to provide Input to others with respect to T-codes.
- Knowledge of system front in fixing or finding the solution to the problems. Knowledge in Impact of business systems
- Microsoft Office- Expert Proficiency Proficient
- Computer operating knowledge.
- Familiar with internet and email.
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excess and Power point.
- Should be able to create macro.
- Systems Thinking, Transformational Capabilities & Technical (SCM) Savvy – Expert Proficiency Expected
- Ability to or should develop an approach to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Cross functional challenges by using Supply chain concepts.
- As the bar is constantly raised, he/she must excel at managing the change and diverse talent, and possess exceptional skills in SCM.
