Project Title: Exploration on the efficient electrode systems for rechargeable batteries
Funding Agency: DST-INSPIRE Faculty Scheme, Govt. of India, Govt. of India
Salary:
Rs. 18,000/- (consolidated).
*Ad-hoc Manpower/ project staff as mentioned in the guideline provided /undertaking signed, thus
project fellow is chosen (not junior research fellow) and fellowship is given according to the availability of
the fund for the project in the current year.
Qualifications:
- Essential qualifications : First class M.Sc in Physics/Chemistry/ M.Tech in Mechanical/Chemical/Metallurgy/Materials Science or equivalent degree from any recognized University
or Institutes. - Desirable qualifications : In addition, the candidate qualified in CSIR/UGC NET, GATE, JEST or
equivalent all India based exam with specialization in Electrochemistry /Thin film technology / Material
Science/Energy storage devices will get preference.

Note: The candidate selected for the position of project fellow will have the option to register for Ph.D
program at IIEST-Shibpur, provided, the candidate must meet certain eligibility requirements and qualify
