Name of the Project : Design of a Surface-Enhanced Spectroscopy based Device for the Rapid Detection of Organophosphate Pesticides and Pyrethroid Insecticides in Fruits and Vegetables
No. of positions : One
Age : 25 years as on October 10, 2017; Relaxation will be given for SC/ST/OBC/PD/Women as per norms of GOI norms
Salary : Rs 25,000 + 20% HRA for first two years and Rs 28,000/- + 20% HRA for third year
Duration : One Year, extendable for two more years upon satisfactory performance
Qualifications:
- Essential – M. Sc. in Chemistry or five year integrated BS-MS in Chemistry (60 % marks or CGPA of 6.5 in the relevant degree)
- Desirable – Prior experience in photochemistry/photophysics

Walk in interview on October 10, 2017 (between 9:30 am to 12:30 pm) at Chemical Sciences Building, IISER-TVM, Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates should bring originals of the certificates for the qualifying examinations, age and other certificate during the interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing for the interview.
