Recruitment for post/s of Scientific Assistant on externally funded projects
Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram is a premier autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for promotion of high quality science education and research in the country.
The Institute invites applications for the following project positions on contract basis:
Job Title – Scientific Assistant (temporary)

Project Title – J C Bose National Fellowship from DST-SERB
Funding Agency – DST-SERB
Tenure of the Post – One Year, extendable for two more years upon satisfactory performance
Age – 28 Years as on May 31, 2017 with 3-5 Years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/women and physically disabled as per norms of Government of India (GoI)
Fellowship – Rs 24,000/-
Qualifications –
- (a) B. Sc. and M. Sc. in Chemistry or (b) five year integrated BS-MS in Chemistry (60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 in the relevant degree)
- Working experience in the field of scientific illustrations of chemical systems (graphics and video) with proven records
