Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of chemistry and QA procedures
- Familiarity with ISO standards, QC instrumentation, and laboratory operations
- Ability to maintain data integrity and compliance
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in audit procedures, stability studies, and exposure studies
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain batch status from the preceding shift and prepare lists of approved/pending batches.
- Ensure implementation of 5S activities on the shop floor and QA lab.
- Update ledgers and logbooks for batch parameters and test results.
- Calibrate instruments such as the color computer, penetrometer, viscometer, gyroshaker, etc.
- Inspect finished products and intermediates as per specifications and test methods.
- Analyze batch cards for deviations and coordinate with production to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct daily rounds on the shopfloor to ensure adherence to procedures.
- Communicate batch status, approvals, and issues to production teams.
