Role Summary

The purpose of the role is to extend testing support related to product in

tegrity initiatives. Support to drive continuous improvements using an Integrated Management System framework and follow/establish procedures and guidelines to confirm the quality of components.

Internal Contacts:

• Communication: Intercompany stakeholders, LZAI functions.

External Contacts:

• Analytical instruments service providers, chemical/glassware/utility suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform QA activities in a collaborative way.
• Conduct lab studies and customer specification setups as per product integrity standard requirements.
• Provide support for the calibration of analytical instruments and standardization of volumetric solutions.
• Assist with product qualification reporting, both locally and globally.
• Contribute to IMS initiatives related to reliability, efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost minimization.
• Monitor analytical testing precision performance.
• Manage nonconformance reporting through the LZ system.
• Perform QA-specific procurement, billing, and related activities.
• Ensure analytical instruments are maintained in working conditions.
• Provide analytical testing support for customer complaints resolution.
• Maintain workplace management (5S).
• Support HSE goals in alignment with the site journey to “Zero Harm – Zero Injury.”

Requirements (Education, Experience, Competencies, and Specific Job Requirements):

Required Expertise/Knowledge/Skills:

• Postgraduate/Graduate in Chemistry from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in testing lubricants, additives, and chemicals, preferably in an MNC environment.
• Sound knowledge of analytical testing instruments and wet analysis, with experience in laboratory blending/synthesis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Adequate fluency with MS Office and proficient in SAP QM module.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently, with flexibility to work in shifts.
• Execution of other work in consultation with the QA Manager.
• Exposure to workplace management tools like 5S will be an advantage.
