Job Purpose:
The Executive I – Waterproofing Technologist is a frontline technical role responsible for supporting the sales of waterproofing products in a defined geography. This includes providing product training and briefings for all stakeholders, ensuring quality during application, and handling complaints to assist in achieving overall business objectives.
Business Objectives:
- Assist the frontline sales workforce in retail by creating awareness of waterproofing product features and selling points.
- Support the sales team in handling customer complaints and product warranty queries related to assigned products.
Product Training:
- Identify and train painting applicators and non-painting applicators, like masons and civil contractors, on the practical application of waterproofing products.
- Maintain and update training records in the portal and measure training impact through lead conversions.
- Brief the sales team in Retail, Projects, and Services on the product range and technical specifications.
Contractor Management:
- Identify key waterproofing contractors in the region and engage them through product training and activations.
- Provide on-site support to top contractors to build confidence in product usage.
- Ensure adherence to the product training plan and provide technical assistance for sales support.
- Resolve complaints within defined timelines and showcase APL product strengths in market events.
- Promote contractor participation in product schemes and initiatives.
Market Intelligence:
- Assist the Marketing and R&D teams in conducting product trials and analyzing product strengths in the market.
- Devise strategies to communicate product benefits to consumers and influencers effectively.
