Job Responsibilities for Senior Chemist/Analyst Job

  • Safety:
    • Ensure wearing appropriate PPE
    • Follow health and safety policies
    • Report unsafe acts or conditions
    • Clean equipment after use
  • Lab Process:
    • Operation of calibration/Analysis/testing on day-to-day basis. (accredited/non-accredited mixture)
    • Preparation of certificate/Label after readiness of material and testing.
    • Work assigned by manager on day to day basis.
    • Maintenance troubleshooting of laboratory Instruments, Report malfunction to Manager.
    • Install new equipments and or develop new process to fulfill requirements.
    • Support lab assistant for laboratory work & stock.
    • Verifying the validity of an instrument before and after conducting calibrations or tests preferred for Senior Chemist/Analyst Job.
    • Chemists may develop new processes, or improve existing ones to get more beneficial results.
    • Analyse Raw material and finished goods to make sure all are fulfilling requirements
  • MSDS:
    • Prepare Safety Data Sheets
    • Conduct pre-dispatch inspection
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain audit documents
    • Prepare laboratory documents
    • Generate stock reports
    • Handle export material documents

Requirements for Senior Chemist/Analyst Job

  • Education: BSC in Chemistry, MSC preferred
  • Experience: 3-4 years in gas analysis on Gas Chromatograph
  • Skills: Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 17025:2017, Internal auditor preferred
