Job Summary:
The lab technician executes development activities within the laboratory, driving innovation and overseeing the synthesis. This role is contributing to the research activities as an active part of the chemistry team by executing laboratory activities aligned with the organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Laboratory support of synthesis, new product development, analytical and characterization of chemical compounds for various applications.
- Analysis of chemical samples using various techniques including but not limited to chromatography, spectroscopy, rheology, and titrations.
- Documentation of laboratory results, collection of lab data, basic calculations, and interpretation of results.
- Ensures compliance with all required internal, local, and federal safety processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Associate degree or above in Chemistry or related field with a strong emphasis on synthetic chemistry.
Experience: At least 2 years of related lab experience in a chemical research environment.
Skills: Experience in synthetic organic chemistry
, proficiency in analytical testing (GC, HPLC, etc.).Communication: Effective team collaboration and data reporting.
Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
Other: Commitment to safety, clean work environments, and flexibility to perform other duties as needed.
