Role Overview
As a Personal Care R&D Chemist, you will play a key role in creating and testing innovative formulations by extracting and incorporating natural actives from herbs and other ingredients. This role focuses on conducting experiments to enhance yields, ensure quality, and develop high-performance formulations.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate or extract natural actives and compounds from herbs to improve active yield.
- Incorporate natural active ingredients into formulations to achieve desired textures and properties.
- Test raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with defined chemical characteristics.
- Conduct experiments for the identification and extraction of various compounds.
Required Skill Sets
- Master’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Science.
- Hands-on experience with personal care research and development.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques such as Mass Spectroscopy and UV Spectroscopy, along with other standard lab analysis equipment.
- Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in a relevant field.
Work Details
- Location: Sector 18, Udyog Vihar, Gurgaon
- Work Days: Monday to Saturday
