Overview
The Production Chemist/Officer plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process of Pharma (Neutraceutical & API’s) products. They are responsible for ensuring that production processes run efficiently and that the quality of the products meets the required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing production processes and procedures
- Monitoring production parameters and identifying areas for improvement
- Participating in the scale-up of production processes
- Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborating with production and quality control teams to address issues
- Preparing reports on production efficiency and product quality
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues
- Training and supervising junior staff
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
- Experience in chemical production or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards
- Proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Strong understanding of chemical reactions and process optimization
- Experience with regulatory requirements for chemical manufacturing
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
