Job Description
- Analysis of data from the investigation of organic and inorganic contaminants (e.g., PAHs, phthalates, chlorophenols) determined using GC-MS, HPLC, and ICP-MS.
- Ensuring data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality controls.
- Preparing detailed analysis reports to summarize findings and data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implementation and documentation of quality assurance and control measures (QA/QC).
- Assisting in the execution of project work and investigation results within the scope of research and development projects.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to develop new analytical methods and approaches.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Successfully completed degree in Chemistry or a comparable natural science with relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in instrumental analysis, as well as proficiency in using evaluation systems (e.g., MassHunter, Chemstation).
- Knowledge in quality management according to DIN EN ISO 17025 is advantageous.
- Experience in method development and optimization.
- High level of diligence in conducting and documenting results.
- Strong organizational skills and teamwork abilities, as well as flexibility.
- Proficiency in MS WORD and MS EXCEL, as well as in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Very good command of English; German language skills in both spoken and written form are an advantage.
