Name of the Post: Senior Development Associate
Objectives of the Position
- Develops innovative and cost-effective catalysts for motorcycle and passenger car (gasoline, CNG and FlexFuel) exhaust gas after-treatment.
- Collaborates with application engineers, supports account team to deliver technical services that satisfy key OEMs in India.
- Responsible for EHS risk management during design and development activities to ensure corresponding R&D activities are conducted in compliance with local and company EHS requirements.
Main Tasks
- Lead development and optimization of new technologies/designs for motorcycle and passenger car exhaust after treatment catalysts to support regional business.
- Proactively explore opportunities and innovative ideas for performance enhancement, collaborate with regional and global teams to foster synergy, accelerate innovation, and deliver results.
- Make recommendations for new or modified research projects and provide technical expertise to team members regionally and globally.
- Prioritize, support, and coordinate all intellectual property initiatives, working closely with internal and external IP council and R&D team.
- Responsible for EHS risk management during design and development activities to ensure corresponding R&D activities are conducted in compliance with local and company EHS requirements.
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
- Education: PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; knowledge about powertrains and environmental catalysts is a plus.
- Working Experience: Fresh PhD is welcome to apply. Relative working experiences in cooperate R&D would be a plus.
- Technical & Professional Knowledge:
- Heterogeneous catalysis design and characterization.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Fluent in oral and written English, results oriented.
