Job Title: JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (INSTRUMENTATION)
Project
Development of Electrospun-Q-dots Nanofibrous-membrane for dual purpose fluorescence
and electrochemical biosensor for breast cancer detection, Project funded by BRNS
Tasks Synthesis of semiconductor Q-dots. Fabrication and characterization of nanofibrous
membranes. Antibody conjugation of the nanofibers. Result analysis and compilation,
document preparation for the project.
Requirements
Maximum Age:30 years as on 01.05.2023
Fellowship: INR 31,000 + HRA (as per BRNS Norms, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria).
Qualification:
Essential: M.Sc in Chemistry or Equivalent with minimum 60% marks or
equivalent CGPA
Desirable: GATE / NET-JRF / NET –Lectureship / SLET qualified candidates
Post Qualification Experience
Essential: Minimum 1
year research experience in nanomaterials such assemiconductor Q-dots synthesis and characterization. Handling of Electro
Spinning machine and preparation of electrospun fibers of different polymers.
Knowledge of handling equipments : fluorescence spectrophotometer, FTIR,
UV spectrophotometer, particle size analyzer etc. knowledge of Microsoft
Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
PROJECT DURATION: Initially 1 year and may be extended based upon the performance of the candidate till the completion of the project.
