The Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM) is a constituent unit of the NCERT, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. It is proposed to fill up the post of Junior Project Fellow on Contractual Basis under the following project through walk-in-interview:-
Project Title: Revision of Syllabi and Textbooks in Science and Mathematics in the light of National Education Policy 2020
Job Title: Junior Project Fellow
Eligbility Criteria:
Master’s degree in Chemistry or any related discipline with minimum 55% Marks for general category (50% marks in the case of SC/ST/PH)
Desirable:
1. Degree/Diploma in Education
2. Knowledge of Computer Applications
3. National Eligibility Test (NET)
Age Limit Below 40 (as on the last date of filling up the application) years as per UCC guidelines
Tenure Upto 3 1 st March 2023
Value of Fellowship Rs.25,000/- p.m. (Fixed consolidated for NET Qualified candidate)
Rs.23,000/- p.m. (Fixed consolidated for Non-NET Qualified candidat
Date & Time 11.11.2022 at 10.30 a.m.
The registration of eligible candidates will be done from 9.00 a.m. to 1 1.00 a.m. only and no candidate will be entertained after 1 1 a.m.

Interested candidates who fulfill the required eligibility conditions as mentioned above, may attend the Walk-in-interview on the specified date and time alongwith their biodata, original certificates/mark sheets/testimonials/experience, etc. One set of self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials and one passport-size photograph may also be submitted. A person whose minimum eligibility degree is awaited, please do not apply. Candidates attending interview will not be paid any TA/DA by the NCERT. The candidates working with other organizations should forward the application through their employer or bring a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of the interview. The candidate who had already worked as Junior Project Fellow (JPF) in the NCERT for two and half years need not to apply again, as per NCERT norms.
