Jamia Hamdard is an institute of higher education deemed to be a university located in New Delhi, India. It is a government-funded university. Established in 1989, was formally inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India Shri Rajiv Gandhi on August 1, 1989.
Project Title: “Mechanism mediating innate functions and gene regulation by cGAS in the nucleus during de novo and latent Herpesvirus infection”

Job Title: Senior Project Associate (Post-doctoral)
Nature of position: Temporary
Number of vacancies: One
Remuneration: 42,000/- + 24% HRA
Duration: Initially the position will be for one year which is extendable till
termination of the fellowship (December 2025) on yearly basis depending on the
performance.
Age limit: 45 Years (Maximum)
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/
Pharma/ MD/ MS from a recognized University. Must have experience of research in
the field of virology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/Immunology or other biological
sciences.
Desirable: A person highly passionate about research and has experience in
molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, and microscopy techniques.
Procedure of selection: Candidates are requested to appear in walk-in interview on January 6, 2022 from 10 AM onwards (Venue- Department of Biotechnology, School of Chemical & Life Sciences). The candidate needs to bring his/her original documents, Biodata, Photo identity proof.
