The Director, CSIR-lndian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun on behalf of the sponsors of the projects is interested to engage Project Associate-I & Project Associate-Il”, and for empanelment for future positions/requirements for various time-bound projects in different schemes. The eligibility criterion and No. of positions are as follows.

Stipend
For Project Associate-I Positions:
(i) The monthly stipend at the rate of Rs. 31000+HRA will be given to the candidates who are selected through
(a) National Eligibility Tests—CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or
(b) A Selection Process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Dept. and their agencies and institutions.
(ii) Others who do not fall under the above will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 25000+HRA.
The above monthly_ stipends may be increased or decreased on the basis of future notifications/guidelines. if any. issued by CSIR Hqrs.. New Delhi from time to time.
Mode of Selection Selection is to be
done on the basis of an online Interview. The date of the interview will be notified on CSIR-IIP website separatelyGeneral Terms & Conditions:
1. Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply ONLINE through the recruitment section of the Institute website http://www.iip.res.in.
2. If the candidate does not have a valid E-mail ID, he/she should create a new valid E-mail ID and register himself/herself before applying. After registering a link will be sent to the registered Email ID of the candidate for activating the User ID. Thereafter, candidates are required to Sign-in with a registered Email- ID, and password and apply for the position.
3. The candidates are required to fill in all the details related to their educational qualification, experience etc. in the online application form as this data will be used for screening the applications.
4. Candidates are required to upload scan copy of the following original documents while applying, failing which, their candidature will be summarily rejected: (i) Educational Qualifications(matriculation onwards), (ii)Age; (iii)Caste Category(in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates); (iv) experience certificate if any; (v) Publications/Patents if any and (vi) detailed biodata etc.
5. Candidates are not required to pay any. application, therefore. the status of fee may_ be shown as pending. Candidates are hereby informed not to confuse themselves with the status of the submitted application.
6. After submission of the application, candidates are advised to keep with them the generated application No. for future correspondence.
7. Mere fulfilling of minimum qualification does not confer any right in a candidate for being called for an Interview. If a large number of applications received. the Screening Committee will adopt it own criteria for shortlisting the applications and preference will be given to the candidates having qualification and experience over and above advertised qualification/experience.
8. The shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview, information for which will be communicated through the CSIR-IIP website and on the registered Email ID of the candidates. Therefore, candidates are advised to visit the CSIR-IIP website regularly for updates.
9. Engagement will initially be for a period of six months/one year depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the project/desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
10. Tenure of engagement of the Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed five years duration. The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark, could be terminated without assigning any reason.
11 . All these positions are temporary and are on behalf of the sponsors and, therefore, do not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim, implicit or explicit for absorption on any post in CSIR-IIP/CSIR.
12. On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project.
13. Wherever possible accommodation will be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible, HRA will be paid as per rules. If accommodation is provided, license fee, water, and electricity charges would be deducted as per CSIR rules.
14. The Project Staff shall be permitted to avail leave and dispensary facility, as per rules.
15. Canteen facilities as available in the Institute may be utilized on payment of suitable charges.
16. Experience, where required, will be calculated from the date of acquiring minimum educational qualification.
17. Final semester and results awaited candidates are not eligible for the above-mentioned positions.
18. TA/DA will not be paid for reporting to duty after selection.
19. Number of positions may vary depending upon the Project requirements.
The panel of Project Staff may be prepared for future requirements, if any, or for upcoming projects. The Director, CSIR-IIP reserves the right not to fill any or all advertised posts. Canvassing in any form will be treated as a disqualification for the positions.
