Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for a post of Junior Research Fellow
under a project entitled “Explorations of Radical Cascade and Multicomponent Reactions, Nontraditional Reactivity of Radicals and Chirality Relay” sponsored by SCIENCE AND
ENGINEERING RESEARCH BOARD (SERB), GoI, New Delhi [GP-446] under Dr. Joydev
K. Laha, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Technology (Process Chemistry).
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

The position is purely temporary, initially for 1 Year, extendable up to two years based on the performance of the candidate, and is co-terminus with the duration of the project.
Eligibility: M.S.(Pharm.) Natural Products/Traditional Medicine, Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or M.Pharm. Pharmacognosy and photochemistry, medicinal/pharmaceutical chemistry, M.Tech (Pharm.) Process Chemistry, M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) with at least one year of research/industrial experience.
Desired experience: Experience in organic synthesis including isolation and
characterization of small organic compounds, heterocycles synthesis, a new methodology
development.
Age Limit: 28 years.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- p.m. + HRA as applicable.
The virtual interviews will be held on 12 February 2021 (Friday) between 3.00 PM to 4.00 PM.

- The original certificates/degree etc of the candidate(s) are subject to verification before
joining, in case of selection. - Candidates with the incomplete application or without relevant supporting enclosures (i.e. self-attested copies of degree/certificates/marks sheets/experience certificate/reprint of important publications, without photographs, signatures, and prescribed fee) will not be interviewed.
