Freshers Job Applications are invited in the prescribed format for empanelment of Project Assistant Level I under externally funded/ sponsored project(s) and other Projects at CSIR-NEERI Hyderabad. A panel of suitable candidates will be prepared for their selection as per project-specific requirement and arrangement.

Prescribed Educational Qualifications:
B.Sc Chemistry
Project Associate-I: M.Sc/B.E./B.Tech Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry
Job Requirement:
Project Assistant:
i). Field survey (secondary data collection) & collection of Air, water, wastewater, soil samples etc.,
ii). Characterization of Air/ Water/ Wastewater/ Soil samples (Laboratory analysis).
iii). Carry out tests involving molecular biology and microbiology protocols
i v). Compilation, Data processing and assisting in Report Preparation.
v). Technical reports preparation using computer software like DTP, MS Office,…etc.,
Project Associate-I:
Field survey, Characterization of samples w.r.t Air, Water, Wastewater, Soil, Report preparation, Operation and maintenance of sophisticated equipment like GC/MS-FID, HPLC, knowledge of air modelling. Experience in Phytoplankton and Zooplankton analysis.
Fixed remuneration: Project Assistant: Rs.20,000/- Plus HRA
Project Associate-I: Rs.31,000/- Plus HRA
No. of Positions (may vary): Project Assistant: 8 nos. Project Associate-I: 2 nos.

Selection process: The applications shall be scrutinized by the screening committee and shortlisted candidates shall be intimated by e-mail/ phone. All the short listed candidates shall be required to appear for a virtual interview. Date of interview shall be communicated to the shortlisted candidates well in advance.
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis, which may be extended or cui-tailed depending on the duration of the sponsored/R&D/consultancy project, satisfactory performance/ conduct of the appointee. The tenure of project assistant at the time of appointment shall be for a period of one year and co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim. implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption.
Note: The candidature of candidates, who do not send scan copies of their original documents along with the application through email. shall be summarily rejected.
