MoFPI VNIT Chemistry Job Opening – Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow to work on Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) funded research project (Q-11/18/2019-R&D)
Title of the project: Waste to wealth: Extracting nutraceutical (polyphenols) from tropical fruits’ residue by biorefinery approach.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Duration of the project: 02 Years
Qualification: M.Sc Chemistry (Organic Chemistry) (NET/GATE qualification is desirable)
Emoluments: Rs 25,000 p.m. (Consolidated )
Note: The post is on contract basis upto a maximum period of two years subject to satisfactory performance evaluation every six month. The candidate is desired to be well versed with handling analytical instruments like HPLC, FTIR, GC, and expected to have experience of working in a reputed institute. The candidate selected for the position of JRF will have the option to register for PhD program subjected to satisfying VNIT’s norms for registration
